I’m honored to share that my latest book, Delaware Keepers: Life at the Edge of the Sea, has been officially added to the Delaware Public Archives Research Room as part of the Archives’ 2026 Third Quarter Accessions. The book is now available to researchers, historians, genealogists, educators, and anyone interested in exploring Delaware’s rich coastal heritage.
Having Delaware Keepers included in the permanent research collection is a meaningful accomplishment. The Delaware Public Archives serves as the state’s official repository for preserving and providing access to materials that document Delaware’s history and culture. Inclusion in its Research Room helps ensure that the stories of the remarkable people who have dedicated their lives to protecting Delaware’s coast will be available for future generations to discover and study.
This recognition is especially rewarding because Delaware Keepers celebrates the men and women whose work has shaped and safeguarded Delaware’s bays, beaches, marshes, and maritime traditions. Their stories are now part of a collection dedicated to preserving the history of the First State.
I am deeply grateful to the Delaware Public Archives for adding Delaware Keepers: Life at the Edge of the Sea to its Research Room collection and for its ongoing commitment to preserving Delaware’s history. It is an honor to have the book become part of the state’s historical record.
